Rev. Irvin Rutherford Rev. Irvin Rutherford is the Founder and Director of Global Ministry Teams (GMT) - formerly Asian Ministry Teams - a programme of recruiting and training the next generation of missionaries with a special emphasis on the unreached peoples. For the past 30 years, Rev. Irvin Rutherford and his wife Linda have worked as missionaries with the international programme Teen Challenge. Irvin & Linda have now established Teen Challenge centres in the United States, South Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. In 1979, Irvin and Linda began a programme called Asian Ministry Teams, now Global Ministry Teams (GMT), which is now a frontline missionary outreach effort with administrative offices in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kansas City (U.S.A.) and Hampton (U.S.A.).
