Welcomes You!

Welcome to the NWIC....
We have hosted the NWIC for the past 7 years (see history below) and due to unforseen circumstances with the Venue we have been using over that period, where camping is no longer allowed, we have decided to take a break this year (2008). We are presently trying to find a suitable venue. So Please keep checking out this page for updates as to when we host our next Conference.

Background

NWIC was born in 2000 when the 'Assemblies of God North West Celebration' came to an end. This highly popular & successful event had been bringing together Assemblies of God churches in the North West during the August Bank Holiday for many years. When it finally closed, God impressed upon our hearts to take up the baton to continue to provide an event open to anyone with a heart after God, regardless of denomination, to come together to worship, to seek the Lord & to receive inspiration. Our first conference was in 2001 & so a new work was born!
With no experience at putting on a large event & a tight budget it could have been an overly daunting task for our relatively small church of Lytham Christian Centre to host such a potentially large conference. But we have always said that NWIC would only continue if God provided what we needed - and this He has done beyond our wildest expectations. The task has galvanised the talents of our church, drawing people together & developing giftings. With God's help they have more than risen to the challenge & we have been greatly blessed by all their labours. Every year God has brought us a rich array of international talent to minister at the conference including the Apostolic Ministry of Irvin Rutherford, the comedic talents of Bobby Ball & the music ministries of US recording artists Jimmy Bratcher & Gregg Martinez & UK artist Steve Parsons.
What God has done at each conference has amazed us. In one regard each one has been different, going from strength to strength. In another they have been similar with God reaching out to people & impacting lives. Our conference motto is 'NWIC - an invitation to a changed life'. We believe God can do this for individuals, for communities, for nations. We Praise & Thank Him for what He has already done through the first four conferences & for what He is going to do in 2007!
