>>The mission of Lytham Christian Centre is to worship the Lord our God and >>serve Him through active participation in ministry and evangelism in order >>to bring people to Jesus and into fellowship with the church family, where >>through discipleship they, in turn, will be equipped to carry out works of >>service.
  • Our desire is to follow the Vision that God has given the church to reach out to and influence our neighbourhoods and communities, the nation and beyond with the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.
  • We long to see people come to know who they are in Christ Jesus and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges and this can only take place when believers become rooted and grounded enough in God's Word to reach out and teach others these same principles.
  • We are called to widely present the Gospel in appropriate ways (whether it is at a particular gathering or out reach or just in the way we live our lives) to give as many individuals and groups of people as possible the opportunity to hear and see the Good News in practice and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
  • We are called to help and assist those who want to know how to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and to support and nurture those who have made the choice and have taken on the life as a Christian.
  • We are called to teach believers to give God's Word first place in their lives to allow them to become rooted, grounded and established in the Word of God (Colossians 1:23, Psalm 112)..
  • We are called to teach all believers who they are in Christ Jesus assisting them to realise their covenant rights and privileges, so that they can live a victorious life and become a true representative of the LORD Jesus Christ – not only in the gatherings of the local church, but also in their homes, schools, places of work and other areas of life
  • We are called to encourage and nurture the different talents and giftings and ministries that God has placed within the Body of the church, using them carefully and wisely, according to God’s direction to gain the maximum benefit for the Kingdom within our communities and beyond.
  • We are called to build an army of mature believers, united in One Spirit, and train them to become skilful in the word of righteousness, to stand firm in the spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness (Hebrews 5:12-14, Ephesians 6:10-18).
